RICE BEANS

Directions: 
Ingredients:

Whisk water and coconut cream together until combined, set aside. Over medium-high heat place a medium saucepan with rice, oil, and salt.  Stir for 3-5 minutes until rice smells nutty and fragrant. Add remaining ingredients and stir a few times to ensure no lumps have formed. Bring mixture to a boil.  

Reduce heat to low and allow to slowly cook until the rice is tender roughly 20-25 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving. 

 

Serve with the meat of your choice or one its own.

 

1 cup uncooked long grain rice (I normally use Jasmine white rice)

1 cup stew red kidney beans 

1 cup coconut cream 

1/2 cup water 

1 teaspoon salt 

1 tablespoon coconut oil
